Legal Assistant

Rinke Noonan is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team in St. Cloud, MN. 

Position Overview: Rinke Noonan has designed an innovative program for selected candidates hired as Legal Assistants. In this position, select candidates will gain exposure to the legal field and have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of law, within a controlled learning environment. This program is specifically designed to help you find your interests and best fit for long-term growth within the company. We will provide the training, coaching, and experiences that allow you to build relationships and take advantage of career opportunities. Each selected candidate will learn the foundational skills to thrive in their legal career. This new training program will provide the selected individual with the opportunity to develop and improve their legal skills, with exposure to a variety of areas of law. Upon completion of the program, you will be placed in a specific practice area. We have an immediate availability in the Estate Planning & Business Department. Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe typed, handwritten, or dictated documents, correspondence, and other materials
  • Greet and interact with clients over the phone and in person
  • Prepare enclosures, exhibits, and copies
  • Verify the accuracy of content in written work
  • Prepare and maintain client files
  • Projects as assigned

 

Skills Needed in Successful Candidates:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional grammar, language, and spelling skills
  • Experience in editing and proofreading
  • Prior knowledge of Microsoft Word and the ability to manipulate templates and style guides
  • Possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn 

 

Qualifications:

  • Document creation
  • Prior experience in customer service 
  • Proofreading, editing, and administrative experience is preferred.
  • A degree in Liberal Arts is preferred, but not required
